Since energy consumption and the environment are becoming more and more important Melis decided to invest in a new lighting laboratory. The goal of the new laboratory is to make faster and more accurate measurements of our luminaires. Making changes to enhance the light output ratio will therefore become more easy. Besides electronical components are changing with the day. To make sure we deliver only the best quality we have to do our own tests.
A very nice side effect of the new laboratory are the new professional full color data sheets. We tried to put every aspect of the lighting measurement into a six page .PDF file, so you as a customer will have a complete set of data.
Especially usefull are key characteristics of the luminaire. On page one of every data sheet you will find these in the color red. For example: Light output ratio, Up down portion, CIE, BZ, UTE, DIN and UGR
An other nice addition are the projectphotos, line diagrams, etc. Datasheets and new LDT files will be added to the website in the coming months. Please open the links below for a first glimpse!!
